If your carpet isn’t near your freezer, try putting ice cubes in a cooler. You can always get more ice cubes from your freezer. You don’t want the ice cubes to melt before use.

Rub The Marshmallow With Ice

Rub ice on the affected area slowly. Quick Rubbing causes the ice cube to melt faster, which is ineffective. A few ice cubes on top of the melted marshmallow help it solidify.

Scrape

Scrape the solidified marshmallow off with a butter knife or other plastic knife. Scrape until the stain disappears.

Boil water

You only need half a cup of hot water, but you must boil a cup or more because evaporation occurs.

Add Soap

Add two drops of dish soap or detergent and half a cup of rubbing alcohol to hot water.

Apply To Affected Areas

Spray the area with hot soapy water and wait a minute. The marshmallow melts a little and wipes off easier.

Marshmallow Wipe

Wipe the melted marshmallow with a cold microfiber cloth.

Allow It To Dry
